- • Offline means your data is on your device first; if you switch devices while offline, sync the original device once before you rely on the new one.

Work offline
Keep using the app with no internet — invoices show ‘pending sync’ and upload when you reconnect.

Force a sync
Back online, use ‘Sync now’ from the menu to push and pull the latest.

Export your data to CSV/Excel for your own records anytime.
Works when the internet doesn't
In India, the internet isn't always there when you need to bill. MGH Books is built for that: it saves to your device first, then syncs to the cloud when you're back online. A dropped connection never stops a sale.
How offline & sync work
- Offline, your work is saved on the device and marked ‘pending sync’.
- When you reconnect, it uploads automatically — or use ‘Sync now’ to push immediately.
- Across devices, your data stays identical once each has synced.
Backups & restore
Your data is backed up to the encrypted cloud and can be restored if needed. For your own peace of mind, you can also export everything to CSV/Excel anytime — belt and braces.
Your data, your control
Connections are SSL-secured and access is role-based. You're never locked in — export your data whenever you like, in standard formats you can open anywhere.
Troubleshooting
Stuck on ‘pending sync’
Fix: Confirm you're online, then use ‘Sync now’. If it persists, sign out and back in — your local data is preserved.
A device shows older data
Fix: Make sure it's signed in to the same account and online, then ‘Sync now’.
I want my own backup
Fix: Export to CSV/Excel from Settings anytime — it's yours to keep.
