Inventory / Stock Reports
Stock is money sitting on your shelves. These reports tell you exactly how much is there, what it's worth, what's selling fast, and what's quietly gathering dust β so you buy smarter and free up cash. Most are built automatically from the items and transactions you've already recorded.
Read this first
- They're computed, not maintained. Quantities and values come from your invoices (out) and bills (in) β you don't update them by hand.
- Value uses weighted-average cost (WAC). A consistent, CA-acceptable basis for what your stock is worth.
- They answer real questions: What's low? What's dead? Which items earn most? What's my closing stock for the bank/CA?

help-shots/ir-01-summary.pngStock Aging & ABC Analysis Samridhi+
Stock Aging buckets items by how long since they last moved (Fresh / 31-90 / 91-180 / Dead stock) β so you spot money trapped in slow movers. ABC Analysis ranks items by revenue contribution (A/B/C), so you focus on the items that matter.
help-shots/ir-02-aging-abc.pngClosing Stock Certificate Unnati+
A CA-certifiable closing-stock statement valued on WAC/AS-2 β exactly what banks and auditors ask for at year-end. Print it to PDF.
help-shots/ir-03-closing-cert.pngKeeping stock accurate
Stock updates automatically as you sell and buy. After a physical count, use a stock adjustment to correct any difference (breakage, shrinkage, counting errors), and the stock movement history shows every in/out for an item so you can trace discrepancies.
Real situations
π After a stocktake
Riya counts her shelves and finds 3 fewer units than the system. She records a stock adjustment; valuation and reports correct instantly.
π Clearing dead stock
She opens Stock Aging, filters the "Dead" bucket, and runs a clearance offer on those items β turning trapped cash back into money.
π Bank wants a stock statement
For her cash-credit limit, the bank needs closing stock. Riya prints the Closing Stock Certificate (Unnati) to PDF and emails it.
