Settings & PDF Templates
This is where you make MGH Books yours — your logo and bank details on invoices, your preferred invoice design, your numbering style, and even the app's language. A few minutes here makes every document you send look professional and on-brand.
Read this first
- Settings are your defaults. Set them once and they apply to every new document automatically.
- Your company profile is the source. Name, GSTIN, address, bank and UPI — entered in Company Setup — appear on invoices and reports.
- Invoices have a choice of PDF look. Pick a template; add your logo, signature and terms.
- The app speaks your language. Choose from 10 Indian languages for the interface.
- Core settings, one PDF template, document numbering and 10 languages are free (Shuruat).
- More invoice themes come on Pragati+; custom logo/branding and your own app brand name are Unnati+.
- Changes apply to new documents. Editing settings doesn't rewrite documents you already saved.
- Keep numbering sequential for GST — set your prefix/series once and let it run.

Open Settings
Go to ⚙️ Settings.
Add your logo, signature & terms
Upload a logo, add a signature image and your standard terms — they'll appear on invoices.
Pick a PDF template
Choose your invoice design. One is included free; more designs unlock on Pragati+, and full custom branding on Unnati+.
Preview & save
Raise a test invoice to see your branding, then you're set for every future document.

📖 Putting a logo on invoices
Deepa uploads her shop logo and adds her bank + UPI details in Settings. Her next invoice goes out looking polished, with a QR to pay.
📖 Setting an invoice prefix
She wants invoices like DS/2026/001. She sets the prefix and starting number once; every invoice follows the series automatically.

Words you'll see, in plain language

Troubleshooting

Best practices
- Add your logo, bank/UPI and terms before sending your first invoice.
- Decide your numbering series early and keep it sequential.
- Send yourself a test invoice to check the branding looks right.
- Enable "background graphics" when saving PDFs so colours/logo appear.

Can I put my logo on invoices for free?
You can add a logo and use the included template on the free plan; full custom branding is Unnati+.
How many invoice designs are there?
One on the free plan; more on Pragati+, with custom branding on Unnati+.
Can I change the app language?
Yes — choose from 10 Indian languages in Settings.
Will changing settings affect past invoices?
No — settings apply to new documents; saved ones stay as they were.
